I have a website! 

Still a bit of a work in progress but do go have a look- there is a lot of new work on it! 

When I say 'new' I mean from the summer holidays, which was actually a wee while ago now! Eek!

I have been drawing a drawing a day for almost a month now! I have been putting them all on a blog so go and have a wee look! All subject suggestions most welcome!

Screen printed book cover for Aku-Aku by Thor Herydahl, a book about discovering Easter Island. Bit of a learning process working with screen printing!

Pages from my Paris zine.

Here are the pages from the zine I made about my trip to Paris in March. In between the comic strip pages I had various drawing to show more raw emotions and feelings for Paris, some where sketches I drew whilst there. I printed it on white sugar paper and used a Japanese binding.

Stop Motion!

My first ever attempt at a stop motion animation.  Still pretty rough around the edges but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! I will definitely continue to experiment with this way of working, maybe using a light box or other alternative back grounds. Enjoy!x

Paris Journal: Day One: Rough

A rough idea of what might be in my Paris comic. Very rough lettering but it gives an idea of the rest might look like!

Paris Journal

Planning on doing a wee comic to document my week in Paris with the illustration gang in March. Should be a bit of a challenge, but totally fun to attempt characterising my friends in comic form. Hoping to find some sort of style as a comic artist and if it's any good I may start an online diary comic! These are just preliminary idea sketches, I'll add some better ones soon!

Current Work in Progress

Working on a book cover at the moment for Aku-Aku by Thor Heyerdahl from University of the West of Scotland's library. The final covers will be displayed in the exhibition space there and then laminated and put around the books and into the library collection! The project runs alongside some screenprinting inductions, restricted to a two colour print, so as there is a unity between everyone's work.
